Do more than just look at cars at the Georgian College Auto Show
Article content
If you’re in or around the Barrie, Ontario area this weekend – and you like cars – stop by the campus of Georgian College for its annual auto show, the largest of its kind run by students in North America. But you don’t have to just look at the wide array of new vehicles from various manufacturers on display; you can have a little more fun.
The Pfaff Autocross Track allows you a thrilling zip around a set course in a variety of performance cars, all with an expert guiding you in the passenger seat. If you’re more environmentally friendly, you can also hop in a variety of electric cars at Plug ’n Drive for a short test ride. There’s also a Kids Zone and the big auction on the main stage, a Barrie Fire Department extraction demonstration and classic and tuner car displays and awards.
The show starts Friday at 11 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m. on Sunday. Visit georgiancollege.ca for a detailed schedule of events .
