This is the brand’s fifth gorgeous concept car, with the others being the New York, GV80, Essentia, and Mint. The X follows Genesis’ “two lines” theme, which keeps the design beautifully simple.

Following the current design language of “Athletic Luxury”, the X borrows styling traits from the latest G90 and even GV80, but packages it in a coupe GT bodystyle. Thin strips are used for the headlights and taillights, with the former cutting through the wheel arch.

Inside the vehicle, the theme continues with a cockpit that wraps around the driver, along with the bucket seats. A “Free Form” display points all the necessary technology toward the driver as well, while the dashboard envelopes passengers and is connected to a floating centre console.

To push forward the sustainability theme, the vehicle was finished in a shade of Lençóis Blue, inspired by the lagoons of Maranhenses National Park in Brazil. Upcycled materials were also used for the seat belts, steering wheel, and airbag cover.

According to Genesis, the letter X symbolizes a “hidden hero.” That could be a reference to the electric drivetrain, which the brand hasn’t shared any information about. However, if this vehicle comes anywhere close to production, we’d be very excited to meet that hero.
