Honda reveals pricing for the all-new 2022 Civic Si

The Canadian-built Civic Si has an affordable starting price, and adequate fuel economy ratings

Honda released its pricing for the 2022 Civic Si trim of its eleventh-generation Civic. The “best-handling, best-equipped, and most fun-to-drive Civic Si ever” will cost $33,150 in Canada, plus an additional $1,700 for freight and PDI. That also makes it one of the less affordable Civic Sis ever.

Honda also revealed the fuel economy ratings for the Si trim; it has a combined mileage rating of 7.7 L/100 km (8.7 city and 6.4 highway).

As previously reported, the 2022 Civic Si is powered by the 1.5L turbocharged four that powered the previous Si; it somehow lost five horsepower for the current model year. It now boasts 200 hp and 192 lb-ft of torque, that latter figure also the same as before.

It comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, limited-slip differential, and sport-tuned suspension. Check out our full first look of the sedan .

The new Civic is built at Honda of Canada Mfg. in Alliston, Ontario, and while the year is quickly coming to an end, Honda says the ’22 Civic Si is expected to hit showrooms later in 2021.
