With the 24-hour countdown on, a couple pieces of last-minute viral media are making the rounds, including a video featuring the new Z06’s engine sound.
Automotive influencer Emelia Hartford shared video and audio footage of the prototype 2023 Z06 sitting on a dynamometer in a professional recording studio and revving up toward its touted 8,600-rpm limit . It’s a pretty satisfying 28-second ascent in pitch.

The soundtrack echoes the clip released by Chevrolet in June , featuring the expected mid-mounted flat-plane-crank engine’s gear-change sound, and is the perfect hype before tomorrow’s reveal.
The other buzz-worthy tidbit in the Corvette world comes from Chevy itself, which partnered with a handful of North American artists to create a C8 art series for the brand’s internal Find New Roads lifestyle magazine. All of the executions are cool and worth a peek , but the standout piece was from Mexico-based photographer Felix Hernandez, who created a misty, nocturnal airport photo shoot with a 1:18-scale model, a fog machine, and an old treadmill.

The stills look shockingly lifelike, but the video Hernandez shared to his YouTube channel is next level.
