So, it’s partnered up with a number of Canadian Provincial Parks to create a program meant to get Canadians stoked about exploring outside. The Canadian branch of the Japanese brand announced this week that it will be supporting the “ambassador programs” for Ontario Parks, B.C. Parks Foundation, and New Brunswick Parks by helping create educational camping videos and media.
And as a perk for any Canadian who buys the 2022 Outback Wilderness, Subaru will throw in a Parks Canada Family/Group Discovery Pass that grants one year of access to over 80 national parks, historic sites, and marine conservation areas. But even if you’re not going to pony up the $42,000 for the new rugged crossover-wagon Outback Wilderness, you can probably still afford the $140 Discovery Pass.
“Subaru Canada is taking steps to encourage a stronger connection with nature,” said Yasushi Enami, chairman, president and CEO of Subaru Canada. “We support Canadians that wish to go deeper in the forest, higher up the mountain and further off the beaten path than ever before.”
