The new package features wings, fins, and six exhaust tips

In case you find the wild Pagani Huayra Roadster BC simply too pedestrian, the Italian builder of supercars would like to direct your attention to its new Pacchetto Tempesta. It packs the Huayra with extra aero, added exhaust pipes, and – naturally – more power.
Literally translating to “Storm Pack”, the Pacchetto Tempesta first imbues the Huayra Roadster BC with a new front splitter and dedicated air intake, before going on to maximize aerodynamic efficiency with a new rear wing which features an integrated central fin. Spotting one will be easy thanks to these aero additions.
Also on board are two extra exhaust tips, tucked into the rear diffuser. The car’s signature quad pipe setup remains dead centre on its rear fascia, creating a machine that has exactly half the number of exhaust outlets as engine cylinders.

Speaking of, Pagani says the twin-turbo V12 is now good for 837 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque, jumps of 36 and 37, respectively. Suspension tweaks are also on board, though the brand promises the Pacchetto Tempesta won’t abuse its occupants thanks to an all-new Soft Driving mode. Various and sundry interior details have been tweaked for this special edition.
It’s all part of the 2021 edition of Monterey Car Week, an event taking place between now and August 15 in California. This, of course, means it isn’t a ‘week’ at all but “Monterey Car Deca-day” doesn’t quite have the same ring to it.
In any case, one of the event’s star attractions is called The Quail, an automotive display and demonstration for the well-heeled, held this year on August 13. It is here that visitors will find a special selection of the Pagani models which have contributed to the brand’s global reputation, including this new Pacchetto Tempesta.
Following this explosion of money, the celebration of the Huayra’s tenth anniversary will continue at the nearby Laguna Seca raceway, an appropriate spot for the brand’s special breed of super- and hypercars.
