The package will be available on the Ram 1500 Laramie, Rebel, and Sport trim lines, adding a few performance items to go with the badge.
These standard-equipment items include a cold-air intake and cold-air performance exhaust; and paddle shifters, console-mounted performance shifter, and metal pedals for the first time on any Ram that isn’t a TRX.
The trucks will also include a sport performance hood with G/T badge, and “performance pages” in the infotainment system. These will show such information as acceleration timers, G-forces, and gauges for engine performance. You can download all of your numbers into a USB stick to share and brag to your friends, too.
Some interior items are specific to the G/T models as well, including high-bolstered bucket seats with the G/T logo; and Mopar all-weather floor mats.
The G/T trucks will come in Crew Cab with the 5.7L V8, and will be equipped with the eTorque mild-hybrid assist system.
Pricing starts at $70,180 for the Sport G/T; at $73,580 for the Rebel G/T; and $76,355 for the Laramie G/T, and add a $1,995 destination fee for each. The new models will go on sale in the third quarter of 2021.
