The 2021 Honda Ridgeline gets a makeover that gives it more of a rugged-truck look. This includes an all-new design from the windshield forward, with new hood and front fenders, upright grille, brighter LED low-beam headlamps, body-colour lower bumper, reshaped rear bumper, new wheels, and 20-mm-wider track. Inside, there’s new seat contrast stitching, a volume knob on the stereo, and new trim accents. The Ridgeline has unibody construction, and uses a 3.5L V6 with nine-speed automatic transmission. Its AWD system includes electronic torque vectoring between the rear wheels, and it’s very off-road capable. Trim levels are the Sport, EX-L, Touring, and Black Edition. All include a locking trunk under the cargo bed floor, and a dual-action tailgate that drops down, or opens sideways like a door. Upper trims include waterproof speakers integrated into the bed sides. Maximum towing capacity is 5,000 lbs. Warranty is 3 years/60,000 km basic, plus 5 years/100,000 km powertrain.
