Thunder Bay police received reports of the collision at the LCBO at 969 Fort William Road in Thunder Bay, Ontario, around 1:20 P.M. on Wednesday, Sept 22, and were told the woman behind the wheel appeared to be intoxicated.

They confirmed this themselves when they arrived, spotting “several signs of impairment,” arresting her, and taking her to the station for evaluation.

Police report that, upon the woman’s arrest, her blood alcohol concentration was measured at 320 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood, which is four times above the legal limit of 80 mg/100 ml.

If your blood alcohol level is four times the legal limit, you do not need to pop by the liquor store! The hospital would be more appropriate.

The Thunder Bay woman has been released pending a court date, and will face multiple charges including operation of a motor vehicle while impaired and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
