Volvo will now tow you home, no matter how old your vehicle is

Here’s some good news for Volvo owners of any era. Should your vehicle break down, Volvo Cars Canada will arrange to have it towed for free.

Called “Tow for Life,” the service is similar to roadside assistance that’s part of every new Volvo’s warranty — except that it’s available even if your car’s been out of warranty for a long while.

While the towing is free, it of course comes with a bit of a restriction, as the tow operator will be taking it only to an authorized Volvo dealer for diagnosis and repair. Once your vehicle’s on its way to a dealer, the tow is no-charge for the first 50 kilometres.
